Welcome to the Web home page for the Gympie Flying Club. If you are looking to join one of the best progressive flying clubs in Southeast Queensland we could be what your looking for. Situated between the coast and the ranges, the flying and the views are hard to beat.

The aerodrome is owned and operated by the Gympie Regional council and is adjacent to the Bruce Hwy at Kybong, 12 kilometers South of Gympie.

Fly in and visit our new clubhouse opposite the apron for a chat or a cuppa.

Want to learn to fly or upgrade your skills Gympie is home to three RAAus. flying schools. All offering affordable recreational flying. The airstrip is also the home for The Gympie Gliding Club with its club house on the Western side of the airstrip.

Avgas is available at the field, with a service station nearby for Mogas.
